Authentic Italian recipe -
(Orange-flavoured prawns – Our recipe)

Time: Preparation: 20 minutes
........ Cooking: few minutes

300 g (10 1/2 oz) prawn tails
2 orange juice
1 orange
2 tablespoons orange-flavoured liqueur
    (arancino)
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Salt

Authentic Italian recipe -

  Spoon measures are American spoons, that is standard cook's measuring spoons used in USA.
  The best plan is to regard 2 American teaspoons or tablespoons as 1 English teaspoon or tablespoon (eating spoons)

Remove the prawn shells and heads. Pour the orange juice into a saucepan together with the balsamic vinegar and arancino. Season to taste with salt and bring to the boil. Add the prawns and boil for about 2 minutes. Switch off the gas and let the prawns cool in the cooking juice. Meanwhile arrange the orange segments in the serving plate. Complete with the prawns. Your dish is ready!

Note

  • - This recipes serves 2 but the doses are enough for more peolple if you prepare a buffet.
  • - Eat every prawn with an orange piece; it’s very tasty!
