Spoon measures are American spoons, that is standard cook's measuring spoons used in USA.
The best plan is to regard 2 American teaspoons or tablespoons as 1 English teaspoon or tablespoon (eating spoons)
Make a syrup with water, sugar and a lemon zest, cut into thin strips. Let it get cool and then add 3 lemon juice
and grappa. Put in an ice-cream freezer for 20 minutes.
Serve at once or preserve in the freezer.
Note
You can serve this sorbet at the end of a lunch or a dinner: for example when it's based on fish courses.
In Italy we also serve it between the fish course and the meat course in a very important lunch.
