sangria with slightly sparkling wine
(White sangria 2 - Our recipe)

Time: preparation: 10 minutes
........ plus resting time

doses for white sangria

4 nectarines (a quality of peach)
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
100 ml (3,5 fl oz - 1/3 C) vodka
6 tablespoons sugar
1 bottle white slightly sparkling wine

easy recipe

sangria made with fresh fruit and vodka

Spoon measures are American spoons, that is standard cook's measuring spoons used in USA.
The best plan is to regard 2 American teaspoons or tablespoons as 1 English teaspoon or tablespoon (eating spoons)

Remove peel and stones from nectarines and cut flesh into pieces. Put these pieces into a large carafe and add sugar and vodka; stir and let the mixture rest in a cool place for about 2 hours.
At this point add orange and lemon slices and pour in white wine. Stir and preserve in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

You should prepare sangria the day before.

Somebody says it should be served without fruit pieces but we like to serve it with all its fruit because it is beautiful to see it and because some guests could want to taste it.
The doses we suggest are enough for 4-6 people if you prepare a buffet and if there are other drinks.
